Mr. Ergun Gürsoy, who graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in 1976, embarked on his professional career following his graduation. He took part in the establishment and operational processes of a total of 11 companies under the umbrella of Ergun Gürsoy Holding, primarily in the logistics sector and across 4 different industries. He currently continues to contribute his experience and vision as the Honorary Chairman of Ergun Gürsoy Holding.

In addition, since his secondary school years, he has been active as an amateur athlete in football, volleyball, athletics, and swimming.

Alongside his achievements in business and sports, with the strong sense of social responsibility and public awareness he has always upheld and set an example of, he founded the Gürsoy Education and Culture Foundation in 1993, through which he continues to support the education of students in need. He is also a member of the High Council of Galatasaray Sports Club, and a founding member of the Education Volunteers Foundation and the Deniz Temiz Association.

With the experiences he gained in both sports and business, since 1984 he served as a Board Member of Galatasaray Sports Club for 15 years, providing service to the club with an approach based on success, determination, and passion. Later on, he shared his extensive knowledge and experiences with sports enthusiasts by writing columns for Hürriyet Newspaper.

Born in Trabzon in 1945, Mr. Ergun Gürsoy is married and a father of three children.
